  • granting of National Technical Assessment (KOT)
  • cooperation with the European Organisation for Technical Assessment (EOTA)

Accredited Laboratories of the Institute perform tests of machines, aggregates, natural stone,  construction materials and elements, according to PN-EN standards.

The Institute co-ordinates the works of EEN Central Poland being a part of the Enterprise Europe Network, supporting innovativeness of enterprises and promoting international co-operation. EEN Central Poland offers support and advice to businesses, and helps them to make the most of the opportunities in the European Union.

Many projects conducted by the Institute are related to the subject of natural environment protection, including key issues of EU policy such as waste management, disposal of hazardous substances and using waste as an alternative source of energy.

The Institute is a partner for SMEs in conducting projects financed from national and EU funds as well as in creating and implementing innovative products and technologies.

Łukasiewicz – IMBiGS also conducts trainings for obtaining state qualifications for building machinery, equipment and road-building machine operators, EU systems for assessment of aggregates, natural stone and construction materials. Annually Machine Operator Training Centre provides training to over 3200 operators. The Centre has implemented an ISO 9001 quality management system compliant with PN-EN ISO 9001:2009.

On behalf of the Ministry of Economy in Poland we co-ordinate the process of training operators of road and construction machinery.
